The Goal
The goal of physical education is to develop physically literate individuals who have the knowledge, skill and confidence to enjoy a lifetime of healthful physical activity.

Flag Football
A game in which two teams each defend goals at opposite ends of the field. Points are scored by carrying the ball or completing a pass across the end zone.

Basketball
A game played between two teams of five players in which goals are scored by throwing a ball through a netted hoop fixed above each end of the court.

Soccer
A game where the ball may not be touched with the hands or arms during play except by the goalie. The object is to put the ball into the opponent's goal.

Other SportsOver the course of the year, students will experience a variety of games, activities and exercises that focus on their development.
