Philosophy of Teaching |
My ideology of teaching is based on the Constructivist theory which is a perspective in teaching based on experimental learning through real-life problems. Students best retain and build on learning when they are able to deconstruct it and rebuild it in a way that makes sense to them.

"Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is enough; we must do." -Leonardo da Vinci
Philosophy of Character |
Mutual respect must occur in our classroom. The teacher respects the students, the students respect the teacher, and the students respect one another. Success in our classroom is not solely based on the individual, but also on the group as a whole. We build upon each other's strengths, while working on our weaknesses.

Mr. Roberts the Person
My amazing wife was the one who helped me to see my true vocation of Teaching. The weight of responsibility and power you hold in your hand as a teacher is unbelievable, and rewarding. It is my goal that students leave my classroom as better prepared individuals ready for the next step in their lives.
When I am not in the classroom, I love spending time with my family. My kids, Charlie and Ada, are so adventurous and love learning new things. Currently, we are learning about space and our solar system! It's so fun. Also, spending time with lightsabers is also a blast!
